GLOW SMOOTHIE

The winter leaves the skin dull and malnourished. No matter how much product one puts on, that's not the only thing that will help. Damaged cells, including  skin and collagen need repair from all the free radical build-up. And this repair is done from the inside out.  Deep colored berries are the perfect superfood and contain the maximum number of antioxidants to repair the skin's cells. Enjoy the taste of this super antioxidant rich glow smoothie with the sweet flavors of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and omega-3 rich flax seeds.

INGREDIENTS

 

1 cup frozen berry blend
2 frozen mango cubes
6 oz POM juice (any flvor)
3 TBSP coconut cream
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/8 cup unsweetened almond milk
Optional:
1 TBSP flax seed powder or




PREPARATION

STEP 1

Put all ingredients is a blender and puree to desired consistency.
Add more liquid as necessary
Pour in your favorite container and enjoy!

 

TIPS: You can use fresh fruit if on hand, but i prefer the frozen blend.

It is cheaper, especially in winter, and cools the smoothie without any ice.
To make the flaxseed powder, I simply put some whole flax seeds in a spice or coffee grinder.
